I tend to think that I have a relatively large family, though that could be due to the fact that my immediate family is split in two. One side living in California, and the other living in Delaware.

As for my extended family, I only listed my mother's and my father's families, and my stepdad, and stepmom's parents for now

West

I used to live in California with my mother, Yvonne, my stepdad, Dave and my brother, William.

My mother works as a food scientist, and she enjoys quilting. (she's good at it too!)

My stepdad is retired from the air force, and currently playing landlord to various people, couples and families.

My brother, William, who's 21 (quite scary actually), is currently attending San Diego State University. He was on various sports team throughout high school. He's the only one of us still living in California. My parents live in Illinois. And I . . .

East

. . . I live in Delaware now. My dad moved here when we all (my mom and that group) moved to England.

My dad, Ron, is also retired from the airforce, and he's currently working full time.

He married my stepmom, Barbara, and they had three of my brothers.

Barbara is working full time at ILC.

My oldest brother, Dave, who will be 21 in August, attends the Catholic University of America in Washington DC as a music major. He's hoping to be a professional musician, playing the trumpet, but may end up teaching instead.

My middle brother, Matthew, passed away in August of '98. He was 12 at the time. He was diagnosed with leukemia in February of '98.

My youngest brother, Joshua, turned 10 this year. He loves all sorts of sports.

Extended Family

My mother's parents (my grandparents), John and Anna, had 8 children, including my mother. Lets see if I can remember the order of their ages.

My mother's the oldest, and she married Dave and they had my brother. Dave's parents are Maxine and William (Bill) and they live in Ohio.

Then comes Lori. Lori married Stephen, and they have 6 children. Ezra, the oldest, has married Neena. Then comes Anna, Hope, Russel, Micah and Carmella, and they might not be in the right age order.

John (my uncle) is the third oldest. He married Robin and has two sons, Cory and Aaron. Him and Robin later divorced, and he's currently single (as far as marriage status goes). John spent some time in Kosovo volunteering there to build houses for the people there. He just decided one day after watching what was going on there, that he was going to pack up some tools, take leave from his job as a paramedic in Berkley, and hop on a plane. Once he got there, he found a group to volunteer with.

Fourth comes my aunt Martine, I think. She married Jim, and they have two daughters, Ariana and Rebecca.

Then Valerie. Valerie works as an engineer, and is also single as far as marriage status goes. She loves riding motorcycles.

Then there's Daria. She married Mike, and they have two sons, Christian (Kit) and John. Both Mike and Daria are music teachers in Arizona.

Ann is next. She married Carlos, and they owned cats. Later, she and Carlos got divorced. She lives close to my parents, and we see her the most out of all our family. She teaches P.E. in a junior high, and also coaches girls basketball at a junior college (I think).

And lastly, there's Lucia. Lucia married Tom, and later they too got divorced. She's now happily living up in the Nevada mountains. She teaches english and drama at a small high school there.

That takes care of my mother's side of the family.

(Okay, so I had some help with the order from my mom)

My father's side isn't nearly as lengthy.

My grandmother, Myrtle, married Melvin, and they had my father.

My grandfather passed away within two months after I moved down to Carlsbad, back in '95.

My father has no brother's or sisters that I know of.

Barbara's parents are Fran and Jean Rapp, and if I remember correctly, they live in Pittsburg.
