Today was a good day
To begin with.
I saw you
Wearing one of my favorite colors
And you were so cute
In your glasses
And I thought about
What I wanted to do,
But I couldn't talk to you then
We were busy doing
Other things
So we went separate ways
And I wrote
I wrote about you
And a few other things,
But you were on my mind
I imagined what it might
Be like to see
Your smile everyday.
And I saw you later
When I went back to class
And someone read what I had wrote
And I told him it was about you
And he let me know
That what I had imagined
Was impossible
That you had a girlfriend
That you and her were close
Like soulmates.
And I think that's wonderful.
Wonderful that you have found your's
Thinking that I will never
Find mine since
The good ones are always taken.
