There was a time when a girl (known only by the single name, Asrana) was sweet, kind and loving. She had a trusting nature, and she always wore a smile. Asrana loved to travel, and she did so quite often. One year, her travels took her to a city that she'd only ever heard stories about. It was in Sollys that she met Vincent. Her life didn't change right away. She spent time with him and listened to him when he needed an ear. The more time she spent around him, the better she got to know him. The better she knew him, the more she felt drawn to him. Without meaning to, she fell for him. She didn't travel much more that year since she didn't want to be away from him for too long. Eventually he took her to his home on the Isle of Noir. His home was beautiful and much more than she ever expected. Both he and his servants treated her with more respect than she felt she deserved. Vincent had a hard time understanding why Asrana came home with him. He didn't believe that she could love someone like him, but she explained to him that she loved the mind, and that was the important part. It didn't matter what he looked like. Vincent was a demonic vampire. Sure he could take the form of a human male, but he prefered his demon shape. That night the two of them bonded in more ways than one. It was the first time and the last time that she would do that alive. Vincent lost control mid-act and his vampire half took over. He drained her before he realized he had done it. He wept over Asrana's cooling body for a moment, then he ordered a marble tomb to be built behind his mansion for her. By the end of the next day it was finished and Vincent took Asrana and laid her inside for all eternity. Or so he thought. Three days later she awoke a changed being. Not only had she taken on his vampiric qualities, but she also took on his demonic ones. At the time, he was away on the mainland, so it was quite a surprise when he returned to find her up and moving around.
Her disrespect wasn't only because of the superiority complex. He had made her what she was without her consent. She saw the change as a curse, and it was one that she would never be rid of since it was a curse of immortality. As time passed, she grew tired of Vincent and she left his home. There wasn't anything he was going to teach her that she couldn't learn on her own. She set out on her own and travelled from town to town. It took a great deal of time and effort to learn to control her demon side. Each time she felt herself losing her temper, her body would threaten to shift. Unlike Vincent, Asrana hated (and still does hate) her demon form. Each time she shifts, it's a constant reminder of what he did to her. Her demonic form has its advantages however, and the longer she's away from Vincent, the more comfortable she is in using those advantages. One of the major differences between Asrana and Vincent could be seen in the demonic form. Vincent looked very much like a demon in that form while Asrana just took the more useful features of the demon. She still looked relatively human, except for the wings. She gained 4" and 35 pounds in the shift however, and her hair turned a brighter shade of red, bordering on a dark orange color.
She stays to herself for the most part, though every now and then someone might catch her interest and she'll play. Stats: Name: Asrana |
