 eacon grew up in one of the small towns in the countryside of France. His relatives always tried to scare him by telling him horror tales about old castle dungeons and the like. When he was 16, he met a girl and fell in love. They were married a couple years later. The tried to have children, but his wife just couldn't seem to get pregnant. Finally when he was 22, she was with child. Unfortunately, because of complications, she went into premature labor and he lost both the baby and her. After that, he couldn't stand to be in that small town anymore, everything reminded him of her. So, he gathered the few things that he would need and traveled to Paris to try his hand at city life. He found himself a place to live and made a few friends. He got a job playing piano in a local hotel. He made enough for rent with a little left over for fun. A few years later, when he was just about to turn 25, he met a traveler to the city. Almost immediately he fell under her "spell." He followed along with her when she went back to her own home, doing what whatever she asked. The only name of her's that he was told was Rose. He found that she made her home in a large, old castle. He was a little unsure about why he chose to go with her at first, but as soon as the thoughts entered his mind, they were gone again, almost as if someone had taken them out.
